We currently serve patients in British Columbia and Ontario. We're expanding to Alberta — join the waitlist to be notified when we launch in your province.
Most patients receive a doctor's decision within 24–48 hours of submitting their form. Once approved, shipping typically takes 2–5 business days.
No. youRx is fully asynchronous — you complete a health form, a licensed doctor reviews it on their schedule, and your prescription is sent directly to a pharmacy. No video call or in-person visit required.
youRx is private pay — you pay the listed price directly, and we do not bill insurers on your behalf. However, many extended benefit plans reimburse prescription weight-loss medications. Keep your receipt and prescription summary, and submit them to your plan for reimbursement after purchase.
You'll receive a reminder before your supply runs out. Refills only require a short re-assessment form — no need to start over. Your monthly platform fee covers all refill assessments and doctor reviews at no extra charge; medication continues to be billed separately by the pharmacy.
Prescription weight-loss medications are typically started at a lower dose and adjusted over time. Your prescribing doctor will include a personalized schedule with your prescription and adjust it at your check-ins.
Side effects vary by medication and by person. Your doctor will review possible side effects and your individual risk profile before prescribing, and monitors how you're doing at each check-in.
Everyone responds differently. Your doctor reviews your progress at regular check-ins and adjusts your treatment plan as needed, so you always have a clear picture of how things are going.
That's a decision you and your doctor make together. Your doctor reviews your progress at each refill to confirm the treatment continues to be right for you.
