Terms of Service
Last updated: May 28, 2026
This document is provided in English and Chinese. The English version is authoritative; in the event of any conflict between the two versions, the English version governs.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the youRx platform operated by Yourx Holdings Ltd. ("youRx", "we", "us"). By creating an account, submitting a consultation, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility
You may use youRx only if:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are a resident of a Canadian province where youRx currently operates (initially British Columbia and Ontario).
- You provide accurate and complete information during signup and intake.
2. What youRx is — and what it is not
youRx is an asynchronous telehealth platform. Patients submit a health intake; a Canadian-licensed physician reviews the intake (typically within 24–48 hours) and, if clinically appropriate, issues a prescription that is dispensed and shipped by a partner pharmacy.
youRx is not a substitute for in-person emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911, or call 811 (HealthLink BC) / Telehealth Ontario for non-emergency health advice, or go to the nearest emergency department.
3. Medical disclaimer
- Prescription decisions are at the sole discretion of the reviewing physician based on the information you provide. A physician may decline to prescribe if it is not clinically appropriate.
- You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete health information. Withholding or misrepresenting information may result in unsafe care, decline of the consultation, or termination of your account.
- youRx does not provide diagnoses or treatment for emergency conditions, mental-health crises, controlled substances, or conditions outside the verticals we offer.
4. Your account
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to notify us immediately at info@yourx.ca if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You may not share your account with any other person.
5. Consultation, prescription, and dispensing
- Submitting a consultation does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued.
- If a prescription is approved, it is dispensed by an independent partner pharmacy that holds its own license and is responsible for filling, packaging, and shipping the medication.
- Pharmacy delivery is available only within the coverage zones we publish. Patients outside coverage will be offered the option to join a waitlist.
- Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary based on the pharmacy partner and your address.
6. Payments
- Fees, subscription pricing, and shipping costs are presented at checkout and may change with prior notice.
- Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Subscriptions renew on the schedule disclosed at checkout. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account or by emailing support; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Refunds for medication already shipped are not available. Refunds for service fees may be offered at our discretion if a consultation cannot be completed.
7. Communications, email, and SMS
By providing your email address and mobile phone number and opting in to SMS, you consent to receive transactional communications from youRx about your consultation, prescription, ID verification, payment, and shipping. Marketing communications require a separate opt-in.
- SMS frequency varies based on consultation activity (typically 0–3 messages per month).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out; reply HELP for assistance.
- You can manage email preferences from your account settings or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The youRx platform, including all text, graphics, code, and trademarks, is the property of Yourx Holdings Ltd. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to seek prescriptions through fraud.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to penetrate the platform's security.
- Interfere with the operation of the platform.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, provide false information, attempt fraud, or otherwise misuse the service. You may close your account at any time by emailing info@yourx.ca; closing your account does not terminate our obligation to retain health records as required by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, youRx and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. This section does not limit liability for matters that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, and you agree to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post a notice and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
