Extended benefits & reimbursement

How to submit a claim to your workplace plan after you pay youRx.

All resources

youRx is private pay β€” you pay the listed price directly, and we do not bill insurers on your behalf. However, many workplace extended-benefit plans reimburse prescription weight-loss medications. You submit the claim yourself after purchase.

  1. 1. Confirm coverage with your plan

Ask your plan administrator whether prescription weight-loss medications are eligible, which documents they need β€” typically an official pharmacy receipt and a prescription summary β€” and whether there is an annual maximum or a prior-authorization step.

  2. 2. Keep your official receipts

Keep your receipt and prescription summary. Those are the documents most plans ask for. youRx does not file the claim for you.

  3. 3. Submit the claim yourself

Most workplace plans let you submit through a member portal or a paper form. Follow your insurer's instructions. youRx never bills insurers on your behalf.

  4. 4. Typical timelines

Many plans take a few weeks to process a reimbursement. The window and the decision are set by your insurer, not by youRx.

Coverage varies by plan. This guide does not promise reimbursement β€” only your plan can confirm what they will pay.
